Cafe O Deli

This is my favorite sandwich spot! It is very clean and well maintained. Sandwich is always made with fresh ingredients. Plus, staffs are very friendly. This is a hidden gem if you work around office park nearby Spectrum where you need a little break from crowd. Parking is very easy as well. I highly recommend this cafe.

I decided to go to Cafe O' Deli for a warm bowl of chili on a rainy cold Monday. The fall in Cali is not usually cold but due to the rain, I chose something warm. They had a few different soup choices but I chose chili because it's hearty and full of protein. I ordered the half sandwich and soup combo thinking it will be enough for a light lunch. To my surprise, the bowl of chili was amazing! The owner told me that their soup is made fresh daily and not from a can. Wow I can really taste the difference. The chili was full of beans, and ground beef. It was topped with cheese, crackers, and my favorite, Tabasco sauce and boy, it was the perfect combination of tangy spicy and heartiness. I also ordered the hot pastrami sandwich on a baguette bread. Usually baguette breads are hard and too brittle but not the bread here. They did a great job in keeping the bread with perfect softness. I especially enjoyed extra pickles with the right amount of mustard. While the seating area was not crowded because the time was late afternoon, I highly recommend this place. It's cozy, friendly, and the food was perfect! Bon a-petite~

My favorite sandwich place in Irvine. Made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Bread is delicious, sauces are great. Awesome catering too!

It’s really interesting how the best sandwich places in Irvine are out of the way in office buildings. Is it because they get to concentrate on their craft over making fancy decorations? Maybe it’s the constant practice they have with great customer service and making something simple into something delicious. Could be the great prices reflecting great food. Whatever it is Cafe O’deli is probably the best sandwich place in Irvine!

Sandwiches are good, one of my favorite places. Service is hit and miss, they charged me for avocado today but did not include it in my sandwich. Atmosphere just okay. Tipped them $5 for takeout only to come home and find out there was no avocado.

I love the sandwiches here! Fresh, clean and very tasty. Catering to a church meeting, I chose this sandwich here. It was a good choice! Everyone was happy and ate deliciously. Thank you for preparing with all your heart!

Great deli with freshly made soup. Was looking for chicken noodle soup and this place was fantastic. You could tell this was freshly made soup. My go to deli now.

I've been here maybe five times and the sandwiches has always been awesome. Mainly tried the Italian and the meatball sub. The Diet Coke fountain drink is also perfect, and I can say the same thing about the staff. Recommended!
